Freemasonry is a fraternal organization dedicated to making good men better. It is founded upon the principles of brotherly love, relief, and truth. Lodges in Ohio are governed by the Grand Lodge of F&AM of Ohio located in Worthington, Ohio. St. Andrew's Lodge No. 619 is one of four lodges located in Springfield, Ohio and has over 500 members. Our stated meetings are held at 7:30pm on the 1st and 3rd Thursdays of each month (except July and August) on the third floor of the Springfield Masonic Temple. We are an extremely active lodge with many events throughout the year. In addition to our stated meetings and frequent degree work, other events include:
Formal Installation of Officers with a reception
Annual Strawberry Festival
Annual Visitation to the historical Ohio Village Lodge No. 10 in Columbus
Annual Past Master Roast
Chili and Oyster Stew Feast prior to the annual meeting in November
Annual Table Lodge (special feast and fellowship night)
Annual participation in the Ohio Special Olympics opening ceremonies
Our charitable activities include financial support of numerous local charities and the Grand Lodge's Charitable Foundation, which provides monetary relief to needy Masons and Non-Masons. Our members are also strong supporters of the Ohio Masonic Home and the Ohio Special Olympics. Our cumulative contributions to the Ohio Masonic Home exceed $100,000 and we have given in excess of $1500 annually to the Ohio Special Olympics for several consecutive years. Many of our members are also very active in the community and their church, giving freely of their time and talents.
